What to expect at the first session

Our first therapy appointment is very important to help us to understand your needs and goals. During this session, I will gently question you and carefully listen to you in order to build a comprehensive case history. This will help to determine the most effective type of therapy for you, as personalised treatment is essential. Together, we will create a tailored plan to help you achieve your desired outcome.

In this initial meeting, you will also be introduced to hypnosis, I will explain the entire process and answer any questions you may have. If there is time, we may conclude the session with some hypnotic relaxation, which will introduce you to the benefits of the process. You will be guided into a wonderfully relaxed state of calming hypnosis, which people find enjoyable and wish would last longer. In this relaxed state, you will soon realise that the only side effect of hypnosis is pure relaxation.

Whatever reason you have for seeking therapy, you don’t have to navigate it alone, I am here to help you every step of the way and will work with you to help you reach the resolution you want.

For the therapy to be effective, the only thing required of you is that you want the change to happen. So, let’s work together so you can become the best version of yourself.

Face to Face – I see the vast majority of my clients in person at my practice.

Working online – If you are unable to get to the practice to see me face to face, I am happy to work with you via Zoom for most issues.
